Hyderabad: TRS legislator T. Harish Rao dismissed TD leaders’ claim that the party would return to power in Telangana state in 2019.
“The TD leaders are dreaming return of their party to power in Telangana in 2019. Forget 2019, the TD will not come to power even in 2090,” he said while welcoming Gajwel Congress ex-MLA Narsa Reddy, who contested against TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao and lost, to party fold.
Mr Narsa Reddy joined the TRS along with four ZPTC members and MPTCs in the presence of Mr Harish Rao at the Telangana Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Harish Rao said the Congress and the TD would be deserted soon in Telangana.

“We expect exodus from the Congress and the TD to TRS,” he said.
Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu and other TD leaders claimed that the TD would return to power in Telangana in 2019.
